Help Wanted allows one to post their inquiry on a special bulletin board about
any person, service, product or web site link that relates to autism.
Help Wanted is being reviewed by advocates who either are specialists in a
Category or for a specific geography.
Inquiries are made directly online, or by phone and mail. Advocates have a goal
of getting some sort of response to the inquirer in 7 days or less by posting
online, or via return phone call.
Anybody can be an advocate here (see below for tips). We have varying levels of
experience, and all advocacy is helpful and appreciated. This is a volunteer
for now (however, see contests we run based on donations)
To review postings, use ‘Search Help Wanted’ and enter either category and/or
State.
Tips to Answer as an Advocate:
All are invited to help answer postings. To Search inquiries in your state:
Click 'Search Help Wanted'
In respective field, choose the desired state
Click on "Subject". If you didn't see the form, click on "Post Reply" at upper
right corner.
Fill in the form and Click "Submit"
An email goes out automatically to inform the person requesting help that
someone has responded to his or her request.
TalkAutism will help track resources we’re adding, and where the inquiries are
coming in from, what people are asking for etc.
We value input to keep expertFind as relevant and helpful as possible.
If you were expecting a category and didn't find one, or find inappropriate
request, please email to Administrator.
